What is a Memorial or Tribute Video?
A Memorial or Tribute Video is a special video that focuses on the life of a deceased person. Typically, it is shown at a funeral home or house of worship before or during a funeral or memorial service. The video is created using photos, music, and even video clips, and needs to be produced quickly, usually within 24 hours. The formula we use is 60 photos plus 2 songs equals the material we need to produce a meaningful Memorial Video. This video is much more than a slide show; it is a unique way to celebrate the life of the deceased. Most videos are 4-6 minutes long and are presented with movement in the photos that is carefully timed to music. The video is delivered through digital download.
How much does a Memorial Video cost?
The cost of a Memorial Video is $2.00 per picture, so you can control how much you want to spend. There is also a $25.00 setup fee, which includes titles and music of your choice.
How to Create a Photo Montage:
1. Gather up your photographs and organize them around a theme. Group them by person, chronologically, or in some way that makes sense to you. Ensure that they are in JPEG format.
2. Select music that has special meaning to you or the person receiving the Photo Montage. 30 pictures equal one song.
3. Come up with an open title and end title to add to the video.
4. Bring or email your photos to Chicago Star Productions. We'll transform them into a family heirloom by creating a Photo Montage you'll cherish down through the ages.
5. Please send them with Google Drive or YouSendIt, and you can use Dropbox.
